Northcoast Engine Power Inc. Limited Warranty Policy

Northcoast Engine Power Inc. warrants, to the original purchaser, that it will repair or replace defective or malfunctioning components that were repaired or serviced by Northcoast Engine Power Inc. All components machined by Northcoast Engine Power Inc., or any of its vendors, are warranted for size only at the time the machine work was performed. Flaws in material not detected by Northcoast Engine Power Inc., or any of its vendors, will not be covered under this warranty. The warranty shall be in effect for a period of 1000 service hours or 12 months from the closing date of the original work order. The warranty will expire after a period of 12 months or 1000 service hours- whichever occurs first.

Northcoast Engine Power Inc. does not warrant products manufactured by its suppliers. Any warranties on the products distributed by Northcoast Engine Power Inc. are those made by the product manufacturer. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, either expressed or implied, on the products it distributes. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. neither assumes, nor authorizes any person to assume for it, any liability in connection with the sale of said products. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. does act as an agent of the companies whose products it distributes. In doing so, Northcoast Engine Power Inc. is able to process, through the manufacturer, warranty claims for a warrantable failure of a product distributed by Northcoast Engine Power Inc.

Northcoast Engine Power Inc. does not warrant any failure which was caused by: misuse, negligence, alteration, accident, or lack of maintenance. Any component originally serviced by Northcoast Engine Power Inc. that has since been repaired or altered by another party will not be warranted.

Northcoast Engine Power Inc. will not be responsible for the replacement of service supplies such as, but not limited to: oil, fuel, coolant, filters, belts, and hoses. Loss of time, loss of use, and loss of revenue are not warranted by Northcoast Engine Power Inc. Progressive damage caused by malfunctioning safety shutdowns, or an operators failure to remove the equipment from service will be considered negligence, and will not be warranted. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. is not responsible for loss of life, or injury resulting from any equipment failure. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. is not responsible for damage to structures, surrounding equipment, vessels, or any other colateral damage caused by equipment failure.

Immediately following the occurence of any warrantable failure, the customer must contact Northcoast Engine Power Inc. for instructions and approval. Failure to contact Northcoast Engine Power Inc. will void the warranty. All warranty repairs will occur at the Northcoast Engine Power Inc. Ohio facility, or the ports of Cleveland, Ashtabula, or Toledo. The option to perform warranty repairs on site will remain with Northcoast Engine Power Inc. Northcoast Engine Power Inc. may also elect to hire an outside party, at no expense to the customer, to perform warranty repairs.

This warranty is the only warranty applicable to Northcoast Engine Power Inc..Northcoast Engine Power Inc. will not honor any other warranties either expressed or implied. All warranties are inactive until associated invoices are paid in full. Non acceptance of the terms herein voids the warranty.
